On their second self-titled LP, Sydney group Peter Fonda continue their ongoing tantrum to a fucked up world.

Previously described as “a kind of sublimated desperation”, Fonda extend their spiritual coping ritual here through 11 tracks of bruising rock n roll.

It’s a symbiotic emotional reaction to nothing in particular, with no counting to ten first, although intentionally composed song elements do occasionally prevail as the cooler head in the room.

The result is unstylish, rarely pretty, often cathartic and excitingly non-sensical.
